More on Vampire® / PRP Facelift

Your Body’s Own Superpower For Healing Skin And Improving Wrinkles
The Vampire Facelift (also known as PRP Collagen Therapy) is like a natural liquid facelift and wrinkle reversal treatment. It combines the natural healing power of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) – the “repair and rebuild” portion of your body’s blood – with dermal fillers and an innovative micro-needling technique to create and grow new tissue, as well as rejuvenate old tissue. Unlike many other procedures, the Vampire Facelift offers a way of both restoring shape while improving tone and texture. It’s great for quickly and easily minimizing wrinkles, improving crinkling skin, regaining fullness in sunken cheeks and tear troughs, tightening sagging neck skin, repairing acne scars and even minimizing pores and sun damage. The best part is that it can address multiple issues with a single treatment.* We also offer a Vampire Facial, which does not involve dermal fillers.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Vampire Facelift/Vampire Facial work?
The “Vampire” in Vampire Facelift / Vampire Facial comes from the fact that we use regenerative cells from your own blood that your body would normally use to heal damaged tissue. These growth factors activate stem cells already in the skin, tricking your skin into thinking its been damaged and triggering it to generate new and younger tissue. The stem cells then develop into new collagen, new fatty tissue for smoothness and new blood vessels for a healthy glow. The result is younger, fresher looking skin.

The Vampire Facelift and Vampire Facial don’t involve complex surgical procedures. The blood is drawn from your arm, then subjected to a special centrifuge. This forces the blood components to separate, resulting in Platelet Rich Plasma. The PRP is then injected into the skin with a micro-needling technique, enabling your body to repair itself. The Vampire Facelift also utilizes dermal fillers to restore the youthful contours of your face.

Is the Vampire Facelift/Vampire Facial safe?
The Vampire Facelift and Vampire Facial are 100 percent safe. The treatments use platelets harvested from your own blood, thereby ensuring that there’s no risk of disease transmission, allergic reaction or rejection. This also means that these treatments can be performed on everyone. Your body doesn’t feel any sense of violation by foreign bodies. It is simply enabling your body to heal itself.

When will I see the results of the Vampire Facelift/Vampire Facial?
Results* are first visible in approximately three weeks, and they can last 12 to 15 months.

How long does the Vampire Facelift/Vampire Facial procedure take?
A Vampire Facelift or Vampire Facial typically takes about 45 minutes to one hour.

What is micro-needling and how does it work?
A micro-needling tool such as SkinPen uses a quick, stamp-like motion to create microscopic, vertical channels in the deep layers of your skin. By doing do, it triggers your body to fill in these channels by producing collagen and elastic. It stimulates your skin’s natural ability to repair itself.*

What kind of downtime can I expect because of micro-needling?
SkinPen typically causes redness and some slight swelling of the skin for approximately two to four days. As with any treatment, results and downtime will vary.

How long does the SkinPen procedure last and will it hurt?
The procedure typically takes 30 minutes and is a relatively pain-free experience.

When will I see results with micro-needling?
You may notice healthier-looking skin immediately. However, the natural repair process of your own skin continues to progress over the course of several weeks, and you may not see the final result for up to three to six months.*

Can I wear makeup following the procedure?
You can resume your normal makeup regimen typically within two to three days following the procedure, depending on the area.

*Results will vary in each individual.
